New Sailing Yachttimer Countdown watch from Alpina

The signature feature of the new Sailing Yachttimer Countdown watch from Alpina is the countdown feature in a window extending from 0 to 4 o’clock on the dial.

In the final 10 seconds of the countdown, numerals appear in the window from 10 to 1 culminating in a fluorescent orange start indicator.

The watch features luminescent white hour and minutes hands and a fluorescent orange seconds hand. The 44-mm case is made of stainless steel and is water resistant to 300 meters.

Atop it is a unidirectional sapphire compass bezel graduated over 360 degrees. The case has a transparent back with a view of the AL-880 automatic movement.
