Newly formed marine battalion of the German Navy approached Mühle Glashütte to make a watch appropriate for its needs, the result was the Seebataillon GMT.
The watch has been designed to be shock resistant, with a 44-mm titanium case and a screw-down crown at 4 o’clock. It is also water resistant to 300 meters.
The watch has a bidirectional rotating countdown bezel in blue to match the dial. On the dial, indices are coated in SuperLumiNova for visibility, and the GMT hand has a gold triangular end to distinguish it from the other hands.
The movement is the automatic ETA 2893-2; it has woodpecker-neck regulation and a Mühle-specific rotor. The Seebataillon GMT comes on a rubber strap with a stainless-steel clasp.
